We love Tumblr, and indeed so it turns out so does the young generation. We have already reported how Tumblr is seeing a surge, being the next big thing amongst youngsters. Well, these new changes to the new Android app for Tumblr are both hip and trendy and we think will strengthen the popularity of Tumblr.
In fact many social networks are working furiously to update their user interfaces, and we have even seen various announcements from Facebook lately doing this.
The trend among social networks has been to make images and videos more prominent on their pages. Well Tumblr for Android now has a “post anything” screen that lets users do this, along with the usual links, quotes or chats. One unique feature is that the app allows you to save drafts and queue posts, and customize tweets. The response from users is reported to be be extremely positive.
